Community and Global Engagement
Our church has a growing awareness of the impact of the climate and nature crises, and we shall be encouraging one other to further our understanding of the local, national and global issues to inspire engagement and action.
The Big Plastic Count 9th – 15th March. We are encouraging each other to take part in this initiative, raising our awareness of just how much plastic we throw away week by week.
Isle of Wight Food Bank. We encourage support for the Food Bank on a weekly basis.
Christian Aid. We support this global charity that works to end poverty and injustice in the world’s poorest places.
All We Can – Methodist Relief and Development. We support this Christian movement that partners with local communities to end poverty.
